I am working on relocated isomerization Unit and we have to load new catalyst in Penex. i come to know that the catalyst sulfated zirconia used in Parisom gives almost 2 RON less than the bimetalic catalyst used in Penex and it have same operational cost. i wanted to know that if i use sulfated zirconia catalyst in penex, what will be the out comes and is it economical regarding catalyst price? if anyone know a rough prices of both the catalyst or percentage of Pt in both catalyst please let me know with reference.

Dear all,

I would like to receive some information about replacement of UOP Penex I-8 catalyst type: Pt/Chlorinated Alumnia.
Right now we using that type but we would like to have equivalent for that, cause UOP dosen't supply it for us anymore.
can any one help me for replacement for that type and also a supplier for type mentioned above.

regards
