I am working on a project where I have to heat used vegetable oil for cleaning and water separation in centrifugal separator. I use two plate heat exchangers for this task, one to recover the energy from the final stream out of the separator and one, second in the line that will heat the oil with hot water. At the end of the line I intend to place immersion heater (element) to rise the temperature up to the final preferred degree.

Can anyone here supply me with layout on such immertion heater design where I will get the most possible out from the energy I put in. All comments are welcome.

thanks

project1,

Can you prepare a sketch of your proposed scheme and post it as an attachment for better understanding of what your requirement is?

Regards,
Ankur.
