Hello all. I am new here so appreciate your help! I am going do be doing some P&ids in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some diagrams to load to practise with doing adds/moves/changes etc. in Visio or SmartDraw. I will be starting out slw so just want to get a bit of practise moving objects etc. This is a great site and will be my goto place for some time I think!

Have a great day!

Carroll.

I think SmartDraw can accept autocad files as input files. Can you advise up to what autocad edition is accepted by your SmartDraw software? E.g. autocad 2006 ? Same for visio, if it has this possibility. Since most PIDs are drafted in autocad, you increase the probability to receive files for practice.
In case you do not find PIDs, you can start a simple one of your own by following the instructions of the manual. Some manuals have examples that are explained in detail (do so, then do so, etc), but I have not paid attention to manuals of SmartDraw / Visio.
