Dear all,

We have 2 st. Gas compressor for natural gas. Some oil lubricant enters to gas. And we use small scrubber (separator) to separate this oil. How can I simulate this process in Hysys, just add a stream (oil lubricant) downstream each stage?

Dmitry,

Obtain properties of the lube oil (density, mol wt and normal boiling point). Add a pseudo component in Hysys and finally add the oil stream upstream of the separator. By the way why do you intend to do so? What you introduce upstream of the scrubber will be separated in the scrubber. It will change nothing in the simulation.
