Dear,
Is it mandatory to have ASME V STAMP For safety valves, where the boiler pressure parts have ASME S STAMP?
Please let me know regarding this and is it written in any code that it is mandatory if Pressure parts have "S" Stamp then safety valves shall have "V" Stamping?
Please anyone help me on this topic

als.phanindra,

As far as i know, "S" symbol stamp relates to power boiler under ASME Sec. I, then ASME Sec. I approved valves carry the " V" stamp.
