Dear Sirs,

I have been asked to calculate the Pinning Margin in a Platformer Reactor.

These calculations will be used as part of Advanced Process Control in the unit.

Im aware about the basics of Pinning, however am not aware as to how to quantify it.

Ours is a radial flow reactor (Catalyst moving downward) and gas flow is upwards through the reactor centre pipe.

Any suggestions/literature may be helpful.

Im not sure if any additonal information is required to be given. Please let me know if any process information needs to be furnished.

Regards
Saikrishna
