Hello
Can anyone please tell me whats the difference between SA516 Gr.70 and SA516 Gr.485. Can I accept Gr.485 in place of Gr.70 from my vessel vendor.

Thanks in advance

Btindra:

SA516 Gr.70 & SA516 Gr.485 are same. The difference is its units only. Grade 70 (ksi) is in US unit and Gr.485 (MPa) is in SI unit.

Regards,
Vignesh.
