Is it safe for choosing centrifugal pump when the medium is H2S and we know that H2S is flammable medium and can cause explosion, or choose positive displacement pump is the best choice??

More important than the type of pump based on liquid flammability is the method of sealing the pump to prevent leakage of flammbale liquid from the pump seal or to prevent air ingress in the pumping system.

For highly flammable and toxic services sealless or canned motor pumps which may be centrifugal type or PD type may be utilized.

I have seen the "Nikkiso" make canned motor centrifugal pumps installed and operating and as per the operating staff they are quite good. Refer the link below:
