I want to spray 18 m3/hr water in main pipe line having 4 kg/cm2 pressure. Water pressure is 7 kg/cm2 just at upstream of connecting with the main pipe line (means delta P is 3 kg/cm2). Water line size is 1''. Can anybody guide how many holes and of what size to be provided on 1'' pipe inside the main pipe line so that 18m3/hr flow can be established?

The main criteria is to have line pressure drop less than 10% of the total hole area pressure drop. This will ensure sufficient atomization.
