Nagarajan,
Space heaters are not used for pumps. They are used for electric motors to prevent condensation during the times the motor is not running. They are also known as anti-condensation heaters. When applied to pumps, this means that pumps driven by electric motors and working on an intermittent basis require their electric motors to be provided with space heaters.
