Please can somebody help with some information about sulphur solidification unit?
Eventually a PFD or P&ID?

Do you mean a sulfur recover unit? If so, here is a diagram from an out of the box simulator example file I use to start my SRU models.

She might be talking downstream of SRU which processes liquid sulfur for export.

Not 100% sure though :D

Dear Michaela,

are you looking for a sulphur pelletisation unit or a sulphur solidification unit. Both have same purpose but shcematics are entirely different.

Dacs has right. This unit is downstream of SRU which processes liquid sulfur for export.

Hi Michaela S

About your question, I know two commercial methods for solid sulfur in the form of pills.
The spherical pellets of one method forms sulfur pellets by the passage of molten sulfur droplets through a bath of water at an ideal temperature for the formation of pellets hard and difficult to break avoiding formation of fine powder. They are described in the attached pdf file.
The other one, known patented ROTOFORM process is available at the following link:
