Hi,

In my project i need to make an heating oil loop which contain two heat exchangers: exhaust gas - heating oil and heating oil - working fluid. Because of that i need to add new substance to Hysys (heating oil - Duratherm S) but i don't know how to do it property. I have density, kinematic and dinamic viscosity, thermal conductivity and heat capacity in funcion of temperature and i don't know if it's possible to insert this data to Hysys database. How should i do that? Can somebody help me?

Perhaps you can read about adding hypothetical components.

I read this part of documentation but i still don't know how to add temperature-based hypothetical heat properties or enthalpy as a function of temperature.

I thought that HYSYS has a heating oil in the component library.

I don't see it. Maybe heating oil is in component library, but have any fancy name?
