Simonpen2001,

For Aspen HYSYS, the component databank includes data for a trade name fluid called "Dowtherm-HT". This fluid is equivalent to Therminol-66 and you don't need to input any external physical & thermodynamic data for this Heat Transfer Fluid (HTF). This class of fluids (Therminol 66, Dowtherm-HT) are called hydrogenated terphenyls. Although I am not quite familiar with Aspen Plus, I do believe that since both HYSYS and Aspen Plus are from Aspen Technology Inc., the component databank for both HYSYS and Aspen Plus should be similar with respect to the compounds and chemicals available.

Regards,

Ankur.
