Dear all

 

Good day. hear i need some help from you for "SIZING OF HORIZONTAL HEAT TREATER" for the following inputs.

 

1. electrical heater

2. operating pressure- 29psig

3. crude inlet flow- 5000 BPD

4. heating temp- 100oC

5. equipment use for crude stabilization

 

please suggest me with procedure to sizing. it will be very helpful if you send me the example for sizing this unit.

Following reference would be useful in sizing horizontal heat treater where heater treater sizing methodolgy and equations are provided:

 

Chapter 7, Crude Oil treating & Oil Desalting Systems, "Surface Production Operations Vol. 1," by Ken Arnold & Maurice Stewart
