Does anyone have any experience in this transfer of a model and if so can you answer my questions.

I am running or am able to have HYSYS V7.0-7.3
Unisim version is R400.

Are .XML files the way to go. I have already ran into issues with this format.

Is it better to have UNISIM save the file as a .hsc file and the HYSYS user open the .HSC file in the version of hysys that unisim designed it for.

Since you seem to have both simulators, why don't you try the alternatives?

I dont currently have both. I am a HYSYS user and am currently waiting to get the UNISIM trial. Our client uses UNISIM.

After doing some testing the .hsc file is the way to go.

In a few trials i tried, Hysys to Unisim worked okay, but Unisim to Hysys was problematic... even using XML files.

But i might have had some version issues going on.

Glad to hear that it worked fine
