Hi, I'm totally confused as how to solve this question. I just started the first Chem E course and this is new to me, Thanks in advance.

Let us share your work , someone will certainly help you ! Don't expect us to do your homework .
Start to gather the data , MW of each component : CO2, H2O,N2,O2.... How do you understand the meaning of average MW ?

Excellent advice from Breizh.
I recommend that seisunblue use an Excel spread sheet and list his compounds with their respective mole %. One he has that listing in a readable and organized manner, he can then start to use his rationalization of how to obtain the average molecular weight of his gas mixture. That is the conventional engineering way to attack a problem and the obvious way to learn.

naverrak ,
To help you : Assume that the total number of moles is 100 !

Hi,
It's too simple, you have mole fraction of individual components, get the individual component molecular weight. The next step is MWavg = Mi*Xi where Mi is Mol Wt of component i and Xi is mole fraction of component i.
