Hey Guys
I'm attending a CHAZOP (Hazard and Operability Studies for Control Systems)
While I have been part of many HAZOPs, this is my first CHAZOP.
Has anyone got any good information for CHAZOPs. (Especially typical guide words / deviations) I am developing some guide words (or deviations) as you would for a HAZOP. Each deviation will be looked at for the control system and causes / consequences / safeguards / actions will be done as per a typical HAZOP.
For the deviations I'm thinking along the lines of, for example
NO OR NOT OR LESS
No or Less Power
No or Less current / signal
Lost data
Data rate too slow
MORE
High volts / amps
High alarm rate
REVERSE
Transmit when should be recieving
etc etc.....
I'm just making them up at the moment. Does anyone have a list of typical CHAZOP deviations?
Normally for a HAZOP the deviations are pretty standard (i.e More / less flow, temp, pressure. Reverse or missdirected Flow, etc etc) and most companies or clients have a list of standard deviations.
Any guidance much appreciated
Thanks
