Dears:

Anyone can clear me that one that coolant in double mechanical seal fails , we  can run the unit for 30 minute until stand by pump would put on service?

Can anyone explain to me why the coolant in our double mechanical seal fails?

You are exactly right.my means is how much time the pump can run without sealant? Until stand by pump brought into service without shutting process?

Relevant mechanical seal vendor is the best reference to which you can ask the matter...but at a glance it can be said that there would be no or very limited time for running the working pump without sealant...

Mr Rahimzadeh ,

 

No sealant = troubles ! You should have a way to control the sealant flow (pressure) . Quite often there is a pot to keep the sealant ( thermosyphon) with a sight glass and failure are detectred by Operators  patrolling or sensors.
