We are specifying a bulk bag unloader that is handling Adipic Acid powder outside under a shed roof. According to some preliminary information, this will be in a hazardous location - Class I, Division 1, Group G - with a Dust Hazard Class of St 1. I know the motors will have to be explosion proof, but will the bulk bag unloader be required to have explosion protection (e.g. explosion panels or something else?
