Hi, I was wondering if there are some templates I can use for sizing a fired heater?

I'm sorry, I didn't explain myself correctly I know the fired heater is in the pallete, what I mean is if there's an already load and running model I can look after because I'm having trouble sizing my fired heater, I can't find any online.

HYSYS is shipped with several sample models for all kinds of process plants. For some reason though, not a single one of them seems to use a fired heater. Even plants that in reality use a fired heater (a crude distillation unit e.g.) just use a regular heater model instead. I actually have no idea why that is.

 

The easiest way to size it is probably not even to try to size it yourself but let a vendor do it.
