Typically the thickness would vary from 100 to 200 mm, but each case has to be looked into individually with due regard to the service and impact of liquid carryover on the cownstream system, among other considerations. Along with thickness, other parameters like mesh density, permissible pressure drop, etc also need to be specified. You may notice some variation in the specs (for comparable service) from one engineering consultancy to another, as these are developed based on company experience.

A second option, of course, is to go to potential vendors.

Regards
Sandeep

dear jprocess,

once again, for more information on mist eliminators and coalescers and help from the vendors please visit www.koch-ottoyork.com.

DEMISTER is a registered trademark of KOCH OTTO YORK and should not be used freely. instead you should call it wire mesh type mist eliminator.

regards.
