Can anyone please share the step by step procedure on how to size the two phase and three phase separator (both horizontal and vertical). I would like to understand clearly. I have read GPSA hand book for the separator sizing , but it is confusing , i could not understand clearly. Please help.

GPSA is about as plain as it gets. You can look at the API recommended practice, too. You can use software on my website to confirm your understanding. If you register, you can download some stuff, too.

Hi panagiotis,

Consider these links to support your work :

Bibles like Perry and GPSA should offer you more info.

Good luck

Some of the best information is found at the websites of demister vendors. Check a few. You can find many links at my website. The underlying physics & math is simple. It's the design criteria that is difficult to ascertain. The simplest criteria is found in API 12J. But I don't use this.

Hi,

A few docs.

Note: On top of my recommendations , consider the book referenced underneath:

Hi,

You are welcome.

It took 2 years for someone to say Thanks.

It seems that it helped a lot of folks.
