Hi,
Im calculating the pressure drop in a cooling tower, with the main branch of the pipeline passing through 4 shell-and-tube exchangers in parallel, of which 1 returns directly to the main return line and 3 exchangers combine into a single pipeline passing through 2 exchangers in series, returning the water to the cooling tower. My question is: should I segment the lines and calculate them separately? Should I use the Hazen-Williams method or the equivalent length method?
