You should have a level transmitter on your storage tank, right?
You should have a Pressure indicator on the top of the ST, right?
You should have a Temperature sensor on the top, right?
You know the total volume of the tank, right?
Basis for calculation:
Mass = Mass liquid +Mass gas
No losses.
density for gas and liquid at T, P available using NIST web site. Google NIST saturation properties
Volume gas =total volume-volume liquid
mass gas =volume gas * gas density
Volume of liquid= section of the tank* height of liquid.
mass of liquid = volume of liquid * density of liquid,
I let you the math (simple)- You may want to use an excel sheet to perform the calculation.
