Good day,

First post here. in my HYSYS model I have a stream that is being split into two streams by a splitter. My question is, in the dynamics mode, is there a way to control the flow of one stream by manipulating the split ratio on the splitter? The Splitter doesn't show up as an option under the objects when trying to chose an OP.

I have tried placing a valve on one of the exit streams and tried manipulating it to shift the flow ratio but that doesn't work either.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've developed dynamic computer models, but not with Hysys. I suspect the valve with a flow controller is what you need. You may need to specify the model differently so that you have a high pressure source going to a lower pressure sink. The customer support group for the software should be able to help you efficiently.
