Dear all.

Does anyone has an experience in modeling of formation water from oil products by gas flotation in hysys? I knew that detailed separator specification allows to determine the amount of oil products in the output water flow. Or hysis allows you to model an emulsifier?

Hi,

"Gas flotation separates oil from water by injecting small gas bubbles into the water, causing oil droplets to attach to the bubbles, rise to the surface, and be skimmed off.

I don't see what kind of simulation will do the job. To me this is typically for pilot tests prior to industrial application.
