Hello all,
Does anybody have experience in the interior lining of a carbon steel phosphoric acid storage tank?
Currently, we only use the carbon bricks + rubber lining solution, mostly chlorobutyl. Is there any other solution for example similar to novolac that has had good and long lasting results?
The fluorine in the acid is a little higher than normal as well.
Further to this, has anybody had experience with the insulation for the concrete foundation of the tank? Current system is rubber sheet with acid resistant bricks and furan mortar.
We currently are looking at this for a new 2000 ton storage tank.
Phosphoric acid
P2o5- 56%
F- 0.6%
Thanks very much guys, Any help would be greatly appreciated.
