Super:

Before I explain how you can solve your problem, please bear in mind that double – or multiple – postings of the same query in different Forums is annoying, confusing, totally disruptive, and gains you nothing but confusing replies from persons who want to help but don’t know where to respond. Please refrain from doing that again. I am deleting the other posts you made.

The way to solve your problem is as follows:
  1. You have the quantity of natural gas in standard cubic feet (I assume that to be at 60 oF & 14.696 psia)
  2. You have the Specific Gravity of the gas. You also should know what Specific Gravity of a gas is and how it is related to the density of the gas. If you don’t, go back and find that out.
  3. Since you now should know the density of the gas, you simply multiply the density (lbs/ft3) (at the same standard conditions) by the standard gas volume. Voila!
P.S.: I'm assuming you can handle the conversion of lbs to tons.
