Dear all,
I have to design a cartridge filter foe separation of dust from oil.I have chosen the polypropylene cartridge.As you know the dimeter of the vessel depends on the number of cartridge.I decided to use the cartridge size as bellow according to manual :
Standard sizes of the cartridges are:
- Inner/outer diameter 115/230 mm;
- Length either 500 or 1000 mm.
But I don't know how I can calculate the number of cartridge .P{lease give me a way to calculate it.
Thanks in advanced

Hi,

finally I used Velcon V Series Filter/Separator Vessel literature for estimating the number of cartridge:
