Let me know how efficient is plant designing for chemical engineering professionals . Is there good advantage of being chemical engg base? So that you can design the plant effieciently having the piping knowledge & also having some tools knowledge like PDS/PDMS/SP3D? what will the future he will have if he has good command over tools & piping knowledge?

I've been designing, building, and troubleshooting chemical processes for over 30 years. The Engineers I've looked up to are the ones that had the knowledge and the tools for the job at hand. Knowledge is power! Those that had the knowledge and knew how to use it (the tools) have done very well for themselves.
