Hi all,

I'm currently preparing a specification document for equipment layout for a petrochemical plant. I've searched around and found some standards for this issue: GE GAP 2.2.5, API RP500, and BN-DG-C01 (http://www.red-bag.c...p/design-guides).

Can anyone please help me:
- Is there any other standard involving equipment/ plant layout?
- Is the one I found on red-bag.com reliable? I've never heard about that website before, so I'm not sure if I can use its data for my work.

Thank you.

Hi Vne

About your request, I think the information by Redbag it's Ok for this subject, but for increase your knowledge attached you find the Engineering Standard for Layout and Spacing by Iranian Ministry of Petroleum.
I think that is usefull for you.

Good luck

Many thanks to Profe for the document.

It seems that many companies/ organizations develop the equipment layout/ spacing by themselves. Can anyone suggest me some more international standards on this one?
