Some of the level transmitter have not had the still wells drilled to equalize pressure between well and contaminated open drain pit thus pressure builds up and gives a false reading.

As the still wells are cemented into the roof of the contaminated open drain pit, would it be possible to drill breather holes in the removeable 2" plug to equalize the pressure.

Any advice? Thanks

Yes, if should work if the tank is operating under atmospheric pressure.
