How do you specify lube oil in HYSYS? I'm trying to simulate a propane chiller and I have no lube oil composition.

Could someone please send me a typical composition?

Thanks

I'm not sure why the lube oil loop is required in the model (is it C3 refrigerant compressor lube oil system?), especially because it is a closed loop system. The only thing of interest I could think of, is to estimate duty of lube oil fin-fan coolers. For modeling purposes, perhaps you could use one of the thermal fluids listed within HYSYS database. Another solution is to visit manufacturer's website, get property data (density, viscosity, pour point etc.) and try to use a single component that matches the best with given lube oil.

Best regards,
